United: Worship and Picnic

When we think CHURCH, we often think of a SERVICE… NOT PEOPLE. Yet when Jesus addresses HIS CHURCH, he addresses the many different people that comprise a body of believers dedicated to his Gospel message, known as “THE CHURCH.”

At River Valley, we are dedicated to the continued collaboration of BEING and BUILDING “THE CHURCH.”

That’s why on AUGUST 28 @ 10 am; we will join other area Rockford churches for a morning of WORSHIP and PICNIC entitled: UNITED.

This worship service will be held at STARLIGHT THEATER and followed by a picnic on the premises.

Food Trucks (Olivio Taco, Gelato Joe’s, and others) will be available, or each family can bring a picnic lunch.

There will be no childcare, but the service will be crafted with FAMILY IN MIND.

All Sunday Morning activities will be MOVED to this location and service, and onsite will be closed that morning.
