The Inevitable Live
March 14 - April 4, 2010

If you are dying, people will attempt to save you, most of your friends will anyway. They will scramble to thrust life back into you. And, if you dance away from death into life, everyone will know it. Salvation is the same, and we should avoid making it more mystical than it is. When Christ saves a person from spiritual death, new life is inevitable. It is unavoidable. A rescued person will be alive and better. God promises that. This series will look at the life exchange at salvation from four important angles: what happens, why it's necessary, how it happens, and what the benefits are of the Inevitable Life.
March 14: What Happens?
The life that Jesus offers is inevitable. When he brings us to life, we can't help but be changed. It just happens. He makes it happen. This message will explore the unavoidable changes and consider why many religious people don't experience them.
March 21: Why Is It Necessary?
We can usually see when a person is physically dead and why that might be a bad thing. It isn't as easy to see the reality or downside of spiritual death. This message will analyze our condition, like an autopsy report.
March 28: How Can We Get It?
If dead people could bring themselves back from the dead, doctors and funeral directors wouldn't drive nice cars. But dead people can't do that. Neither can the spiritually dead. So, how do we get life when we are six feet under, spiritually speaking? It might be a more intricate process than you realize. This message will explore the how of salvation.
April 4: What Are the Perks?
Life has got to be better than death, but sometimes salvation looks like a downer compared to walking on the wild side. Jesus said it wasn't, but many people have no idea what he was talking about. This Easter message will show the benefits of the inevitable life and explain how to cash in on them.
